Industries
You finish the job. The money shows up later.
Trucking, solar, construction, and trades all run on the same schedule. The work is done, the invoice is out, and the payment terms belong to somebody else. Pick your trade and read the specific version.
Invoicing and reminders are free, always. Checking what an invoice is worth costs nothing. You only pay if you take the cash.
Dicopay's invoicing app is live in Sweden today. Financing availability, pricing, and partners vary by country.
Four trades
The wait looks different in every trade.
The gap is the same in all four trades, but the reason for it is different in each. Each card is the short version, and the page behind it goes further.
Trucking and freight
The load is delivered on Tuesday, and the broker pays on 30 to 45 day terms counted from the day the paperwork clears. Fuel, tolls, insurance, and the driver's settlement are all due long before that.

Solar and energy
You pay for panels, racking, and inverters up front, then bill after commissioning and the inspection sign-off. The permit office and the utility interconnection queue decide when you can invoice, and neither one moves for your payroll date.

Construction
Progress billing has you paying for the next phase while you are still waiting on the last one, and retainage holds back a slice of every payment until the project closes out. A pay-when-paid clause puts your money behind the general contractor's own collection.

Trades and services
Materials go on your card on Monday and the job is invoiced on Friday, so the outlay lands weeks ahead of the payment. A commercial customer with a monthly payment run pays on their calendar, not on the day the work passed inspection.

What they share
You finish the job before you get paid.
In all four trades the cost comes first and the payment comes last. Nobody is disputing the invoice. It is sitting on somebody else's desk while your payroll date does not move.
Your costs come first
Fuel, panels, lumber, and wages are paid at the start of the job. The invoice can only go out at the end of it.
Somebody else sets the terms
The broker, the general contractor, the utility, and the accounts payable department each pay on a cycle you did not choose. Net 30 is their default, not your decision.
Chasing is unpaid work
Every reminder you write yourself is an hour you did not bill. It is also a conversation you would rather not have with a customer you want to work for again.

What Dicopay does about it
Send it for free, and stop chasing it yourself.
Invoicing is free with no monthly fee and no card. Contracts, e-signature, and time reporting are included, so the agreement, the hours, and the invoice stay in one place. Reminders go out before the due date and after it, from Dicopay on your behalf.
Your customer opens the invoice on their phone and pays in full, on invoice up to 60 days, or in installments. They do not need an account, a password, or an app.
Every invoice you issue to another business or a public body is checked for a financing offer from independent regulated lending partners. If you accept one, your customer approves on their phone and the money is in your account within 24 hours. Not all invoices qualify, and consumer invoices are still sent and chased for free.

Dicopay is not a lender.
Financing is provided by independent regulated lending partners. They decide eligibility, they set the pricing, and they write the terms, and all of it is disclosed to you before you accept anything. Dicopay is paid a referral fee by the partner when a deal funds, which is how the invoicing stays free.
Checking what an invoice is worth costs nothing, and declining every offer costs nothing. Pricing on the financing side is per invoice, quoted by the funding partner before you agree to it.
