What a cookie is.

A cookie is a small file that a site stores on your device so it can recognize the device on the next page or the next visit. This policy also covers the technologies that do a similar job, such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits inside the app. We call all of them cookies here to keep the page readable.

This policy explains the cookies on the Dicopay website and in the Dicopay app. What we do with the personal data behind them is set out in the privacy policy.

The categories we use.

Strictly necessary

These keep you logged in, keep your session attached to the right account, balance traffic across our servers, remember which cookies you have already agreed to, and protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Without them the site cannot deliver a page you asked for, so they are set without consent and there is no way to switch them off. They do not track you across other sites.

Preferences

These remember choices you have made: your language, your country, whether a notice has been dismissed, and how you left an interface set. They exist to stop the site asking you the same question every visit. If you turn them off, the site still works, and it forgets those choices each time.

Analytics

These count visits and tell us which pages get read, which are abandoned, where a form goes wrong, and how long a page takes to load. We use them to fix the product, not to build an advertising profile. Analytics cookies are set only after you agree, and they stay off until you do.

Advertising cookies.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site. If that changes, this page will change with it, and the new category will be off until you agree to it.

How to control cookies.

The banner, the settings link, and your browser each control a different part of this.

• The cookie banner. The first time you visit, you choose which optional categories to allow. Nothing optional is set before you choose.
• The cookie settings link. You can reopen those choices at any time and change them, including withdrawing a consent you gave earlier. The location of that link is [to confirm].
• Your browser. Every major browser can block cookies, delete the ones already stored, or clear them when you close it. The steps differ by browser, and the help pages inside the browser have the current instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site, including logging in.

We do not sell personal information.

Dicopay does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run an advertising exchange, and we do not pass your browsing behavior to data brokers. The only parties that receive data are the ones listed in the privacy policy: funding partners when you ask to see an offer, identity and fraud providers, accounting software you connect yourself, and the service providers that run our infrastructure on our instructions.

Changes to this policy.

We update this page when we add or remove a cookie, or when a provider changes. The date at the bottom tells you which version you are reading.
