SMS terms
SMS terms of service.
These terms cover every text message Dicopay sends you. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel.
The short version
Four things to know before you read the rest.
The full terms are below this. Nothing in them contradicts these four lines.
What the program is
The Dicopay SMS program sends text messages about your Dicopay account and about the invoices you send or receive.
How often we text
Message frequency varies, because messages follow your invoices rather than a publishing schedule.
What it costs
Dicopay charges you nothing for text messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any Dicopay message to cancel. Reply HELP to any Dicopay message to get help.
The full terms
The Dicopay SMS program in full.
These terms are between you and Dicopay AB, the company that runs the Dicopay invoicing app. By opting in you accept them.
1. Program description
The Dicopay SMS program is a text message service operated by Dicopay AB, a company registered in Sweden with company registration number 559108-7787 and an office in Göteborg. If you opt in, we send text messages to the mobile number you gave us about the following:
- Invoices you have sent, including when a customer opens, approves, or pays one.
- Automatic payment reminders relating to invoices you have sent, before and after the due date.
- Invoices sent to you by a business that uses Dicopay, including the link you use to view and pay them.
- Account and security notices, such as a sign-in code or a change to your account details.
- Service notices about the app, including planned downtime and changes to these terms.
- Occasional product news about Dicopay, if you opted in to that as well.
Some messages tell you that a financing offer is available on an invoice you have issued. Dicopay is not a lender. Financing is provided by independent regulated lending partners, and eligibility, pricing, and terms are set by the funding partner and disclosed to you before you accept anything. A text message is a notification, never an offer of credit in itself.
Text messages are one channel and not the only one. You can use Dicopay without them.
2. How you join the program
You join in one of two ways: you check the SMS consent box on our SMS consent form, or you turn text messages on inside the Dicopay app. In both cases you give us the mobile number yourself, and the box starts empty. We never add a number for you.
You must be at least 18 years old. You must be the subscriber of the mobile number you give us, or a person the subscriber has authorized to use it. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying anything from Dicopay and is not a condition of using the invoicing app, which is free.
If your mobile number changes, or if you give up a number that is later reassigned to somebody else, tell us. We stop messages to a number as soon as we learn it no longer belongs to you.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on how many invoices you send, how many of them are approved or paid, and how many reminders your customers need. In a quiet month you may receive no messages at all. In a busy month you may receive several in one day.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Dicopay does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for each message you send or receive, and for the data used to open a link in one. Those charges are between you and your carrier. Check your plan with your carrier if you are not sure what a message costs you.
5. HELP: how to get help
Reply HELP to any text message from Dicopay to get help. You receive a reply with the name of the program, how to contact us, and how to cancel. Replying HELP does not cancel your messages and does not change your account.
You can also reach a person. The support email address is [to confirm] and the support telephone number is [to confirm]. Support hours are [to confirm]. Our postal address is Dicopay AB, Göteborg, Sweden, street address [to confirm].
6. STOP: how to cancel
Reply STOP to any text message from Dicopay to cancel. You can also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. We send one final message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we send you no further text messages. Canceling is free, and we act on it as soon as your message reaches us.
If you cancel, you keep your Dicopay account and you keep free invoicing. We continue to contact you by email where we need to reach you about your account. If you later want text messages again, opt in again through the SMS consent form or in the app.
7. Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messages depend on your carrier's network, your handset, and your coverage, none of which Dicopay controls. We cannot promise that every message arrives, that it arrives on time, or that it arrives in the order it was sent. Do not rely on a text message alone for anything time-critical. The record that counts is the one in your Dicopay account.
Not every carrier and not every handset supports every part of the program. Supported carriers are [to confirm].
8. Your privacy
We use your mobile number to run this program and for the purposes set out in our privacy policy, which explains what we hold, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and how to ask for a copy or ask us to delete it. We do not sell your mobile number. We do not share the fact that you opted in to text messages with third parties for their own marketing.
Messages may contain your invoice numbers and amounts. Anyone holding your phone can read them, so lock your phone and tell us if you lose it.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, we post the new version on this page and update the date at the bottom, and where the change is significant we tell you by text message or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, reply STOP.
10. Availability and governing law
The Dicopay invoicing app is live in Sweden. Availability of the SMS program, of the app, and of financing differs by country, and parts of this program may not be available where you are. These terms are governed by Swedish law, and nothing in them takes away a right you have under the consumer or telecommunications law of your own country.
11. Who to contact
Dicopay AB, company registration number 559108-7787, Göteborg, Sweden. Email [to confirm]. Telephone [to confirm]. For anything about your personal data, read the privacy policy first, then write to the address for data requests, which is [to confirm].

Fraud
What a Dicopay text will never ask you to do.
People do send fake invoice texts. These four rules are the fastest way to spot one.
We never ask for your password
No Dicopay message asks you to reply with your password, your sign-in code, or your card details. If a message asks, it is not from us.
We never change bank details by text
A text message never gives you new bank details for an invoice you are paying. Payment details live in the invoice itself.
We never ask for a fee up front
Checking what an invoice is worth costs nothing, and no message asks you to pay a fee before money can reach you.
We never rush you off the platform
If something looks wrong, stop and open your Dicopay account instead of replying. You can also read the guidance for people who received an invoice.
