Partners

We bring the invoice. Our partners bring the money.

Dicopay is free invoicing software with a referral layer on top. Two kinds of partner make that work: independent regulated lending partners who fund the invoices, and accounting and platform partners who keep the data moving. This page explains what each side puts in and what each side gets out.

Who this page is for

Two conversations, one page.

We have not named a partner anywhere on this site, and we will not name one before both sides agree to it. What follows is the model, written plainly, so you can decide whether it is worth a call.

Lending partners

You underwrite and fund invoice advances and you want origination that arrives already verified. We send you a live invoice, a known counterparty, and a business that has already been through identity checks.

Accounting and platform partners

You run accounting software, a field service tool, a marketplace, or a vertical platform where small businesses already do their work. Invoicing sits next to that work, and so does the cash problem behind it.

For lending partners

What arrives at your desk, already checked.

Most invoice finance origination starts with a document and a name. Ours starts further along, because the invoice was created inside our software rather than sent to us afterward.

Verified identity

The business has been through identity checks at signup. In Sweden that is BankID, and it happens before the first invoice is written, not after an application is filed.

A live invoice, not a claim

The invoice was issued through Dicopay, so we know the amount, the due date, the payment terms, and whether the customer has opened and approved it.

A known counterparty

Financing applies to invoices issued to another business or a public body, so the party who owes the money is identified on the invoice you are looking at.

A business already onboarded

3,000 Swedish businesses have onboarded to Dicopay since launch. They are using the software for invoicing, contracts, and reminders whether or not they ever take an advance.

The collections work, already running

Automatic reminders go out before the due date and after it, from Dicopay on the customer's behalf. That behavior does not start when an invoice is financed.

What we do not do

We do not underwrite, we do not price, we do not set terms, and we do not carry credit risk. Dicopay is not a lender. Those decisions are yours, and we do not pretend otherwise to the customer.

What a partner brings

Capital, a credit policy, and a decision we can show.

A funding partner brings the balance sheet, the license to lend in the market, the underwriting model, and the terms. We bring the invoice and the customer relationship. The line between those two is the whole arrangement, and we keep it visible on every page of this site.

In practice we ask a partner for four things: a decision we can return to the customer quickly, pricing that is quoted per invoice and disclosed in full before the customer accepts, funding that reaches the account within 24 hours of the customer approving on their phone, and a clear position on recourse so the customer knows who carries the risk if their customer never pays.

The demand behind it

Small businesses are short of cash they have already earned.

These four numbers are the reason the referral exists. They are the only statistics we publish, and each one is sourced.

$17,500

The average US small business with invoices outstanding is owed $17,500.

How a referral works

The commercial model, in five steps.

There is one revenue event in this business and it happens at the end. Nothing before it is billed to anybody.

1

A business sends an invoice

Invoicing, contracts, e-signature, time reporting, and reminders are free, with no monthly fee and no card. That is true for every business on Dicopay, and it stays true if they never look at a financing offer.

2

The invoice is checked for an offer

Invoices issued to another business or a public body are checked with independent regulated lending partners. Checking costs the customer nothing. Not every invoice qualifies, and the partner decides which ones do.

3

The partner prices it and we show the offer

Eligibility, pricing, and terms are set by the funding partner and disclosed to the business before it accepts. Pricing is quoted per invoice. Dicopay does not add a margin to that quote and does not charge the business a fee of its own.

4

The business accepts the offer, or ignores it

If the business accepts, its customer approves on their phone and the money is in the business account within 24 hours. If the business ignores the offer, the invoice runs to its due date and the reminders keep going out. Both outcomes are normal.

5

The partner pays us a referral fee when a deal funds

That is the only way Dicopay earns money from an invoice. No funded deal, no fee. The fee is agreed in the partner contract, per market, and it is not published here or anywhere else on this site.

Where the boundary sits.

Dicopay is not a lender and does not underwrite or fund invoices. Financing is provided by independent regulated lending partners, who decide eligibility, pricing, and terms, and who disclose all of it to the business before it accepts. Dicopay is paid a referral fee by the partner when a deal funds. That is how the invoicing stays free.

Availability differs by country. The invoicing app is live in Sweden, where onboarding uses BankID and takes about a minute. Financing availability, pricing, and partners vary by market and are subject to the partner's approval.

For accounting and platform partners

Invoicing is where the data already is.

Small businesses do not think of invoicing, bookkeeping, and cash as three products. They think of it as getting paid. Integrations are how we keep those pieces from being rekeyed by hand at the end of the quarter.

Accounting exports

In Sweden, invoice and payment data exports to Visma, Bokio, Hogia, and SpeedLedger, so an accountant works in the file they already know. If you build accounting software in another market, this is the first thing we would want to talk about.

Vertical platforms

Field service tools, dispatch systems, job boards, and marketplaces already hold the job record. Invoicing that sits beside the job, with a financing check running on that invoice, is the same workflow with fewer copies of the same number.

Referral relationships

Some partners would rather point their members at free invoicing than build it. Trade associations, bookkeepers, and industry groups fall into this category. There is nothing for the member to pay, which makes the conversation short.

What we can say about the technical side today.

The exports listed above are live in Sweden. Anything beyond that, including public API documentation, a sandbox, and a partner portal, is [to confirm] and we would rather say so than describe something that is not built yet. If you tell us what your integration needs to do, we will answer honestly about what exists now and what does not.

A useful first message says what you fund or what you build, which market you are in, and roughly what volume looks like. We will tell you quickly if the fit is not there.

Easy invoicing, fast cash.

The customer side of this is simple: free invoicing, automatic reminders, and an offer they can ignore. The partner side is where the work is. Start with the product and the model will make more sense.
